How Do I Calibrate A Barometer?
I have recently purchased a Schwartz marine barometer, but live inland at 1000 ft so the readings are way out. I only need it to be ballpark accurate.

The barometric pressure reading is subject to two factors: The altitude of your location and variation in air pressure due to local weather systems. One way to calibrate your barometer is by checking with local weather data suppliers and set your barometer according to the observed local condition.
