I'm currently beening treated for depression. Because my doctor wants to treat the depression first before she will look in to my main concerns which are my adhd symptoms not depression.

What kind of doctor are you seeing? Has she sent you for a blood test? Clinical depression is the result of a chemical imbalance in the brain. Your blood can be tested for the serotonin level in your body. There may be a reason for her to take this approach. Have you discussed it with her? Sometimes you just have to put your foot down and insist that a doctor listens to you. You have a right to be involved in your own treatment. You may even have to get a second opinion.
