I Have Gallbladder Problems, My Gallbladder Is Not Emptying Like It Should, Will This Cause A Rupture If Not Removed And Does It Cause Swelling Of The Abdomen, Feet And Ankles?

I Have Been Having Gallbladder Attacks, Have Gone Thru The Ct Scan, The Radio-active Scan, It Shows That My Gallbladder Is Not Emptying Right, So I Need It Out, Have Experienced Swelling, abdomen, feet&ankles??? My feet and ankles have been swelling really bad, I am on a water pill and at night the swelling does not go away, or could this swelling be caused from certain medications?? I have had the Ct scan, the radio-active scan and blood work done, the Gallbladder shows during these test that it does not empty properly. Do you have any answers for me? Peggy Blankenship

Your gallbladder is might be obstructed. This can cause complications and needs to be removed surgically. It does not cause swelling in abdomen directly but when the bile is not being emptied due to gallbladder problem, it can cause some problems in liver which lead abdominal swelling and also water retention. So visit your doctor and get removed your gallbladder.
