    A hemorroid is a blood vessel that has enlarged. Use a mirror to check or feel for it. If you don't see/feel a hemorroid then go see a doctor to have yourself checked for polyps (raised bumps in the colon). One should never be bleeding from the rectum and should have it checked out sooner than later.
