How Can I Find A Postcode From The Address?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Finding a postcode from the address is a very simple job. Basically a postcode is a certain arrangement of letters and numbers. For example, the postal code of Anna's bed and breakfast in 198 Kingston Road, Wimbledon, London is SW19 3NU, now the first four alpha numerics on the code is the district postcode and the last three ones are the codes of 198 Kingston road.

Now you will always find a code of this sort on an address. That is therefore the postal code of that place. This is how you find a post code from a given address. This particular system was introduced in Germany initially in the early 40s and then in UK in the late 50s. You could even go to royalmail.com and find out a postcode of a certain location.
