Comparing Cartoons From The Past To Now How Have They Changed?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I think in some ways they have changed a lot but in others the same classic formula has stayed the same. When I was a kid we had Bugs Bunny and (original) Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, Super Friends. It's nice to see Tom and Jerry back on and it's almost the same as the original ones. Super Friends is pretty much Justice League without the stupid twins. Most of those have stayed similar to the way they were 30 years ago when I watched them on Saturday mornings (except Bugs Bunny who I miss!). But now there are a lot of anime one that just all seem the same to me most of them aren't very good or very original. And I really don't get the whole big SpongeBob deal. There are a lot more that are geared toward adults now like Family Guy, American Dad, Adult Swim which I think is a good thing. I think generally the animation quality has improved over the years but for the most part, with a few exceptions (The Simpsons for example) I think it's still hard to beat the classics!
