My Dishwasher Won't Empty, Why?

Have whirlpool dishwasher and water will not empty after cycle.

    His answer is very good. I would only add you may want to check the hose from the dishwasher to the sink. Often soap and food will clump up in the hose and block it from draining. Good luck.

      The blades in my dishwasher dont go round  it dont empty water and the light dont come on wen u put it on ?

        It Could be the pump. It Could be block drain. Disconnect the drain from under the sink and take a look. A lot of dishwashers drain under the sink, and they go into either the garbage disposal, or sink drain tailpiece. A lot of time they will plug up there.
        It could be the pump/motor also, if it is that, you will need a technician.
