    King's Lynn is a small town as well as a port situated in the county of Norfolk. Over the period of years the town has been known by various names like the Bishop's Lynn and Lynn Regis, thought the locals call it simply Lynn.

    King Lynn is positioned on the River Great Ouse near the position where it flows to Wash, approximately thirty five miles north-east of the city of Peterbrough and around forty four miles west of the city of Norwich, it is also the same distance north of the city of Cambridge. London is located approximately 110 miles south.

    The unparished urban region which makes up the region of King's Lynn has a total area of 28.41 square kilometres. The total population of this area according to the census conducted in the year 2001 was 34,564.
