Well, since having this operation has shrunk the size of your stomach considerably, to that of a small cups' capacity. I think you need to get a powdered form of fibre, which you can get from a health shop,it has powdered bran it it and other husks.
Due to the fact that you cannot consume all the skins and peel and pith from fruits and vegetables, that your body requires, you will have to substitute with a supplement like this one. You also must be careful to take vitamins daily to
give you your daily requirements.
I think you should check with your doctor, and make sure your
diet has been adjusted properly to compensate for your new situation.

Gastric bypass is a surgical procedure which reduces the size of your stomach. The small intenstine is connected to the new stomach, allowing the bottom part of the stomach to be bypassed. Fiber found in foods like raw vegetables, dried beans, bran etc is not advisable. There is less room in your stomach to hold these bulky food and the gastric acid that digests these food is also quite less. Your doctor can recommend you multi-vitamin tablets or extra vitamin B-12, iron or calcium supplements. You should eat food which is low in fiber but high on protein. You should go for chewable foods like banana, scrambled egg, margarine, boiled carrot, pasta salad, green beans etc.
