    Rainbows are formed by the look of water and sun mixed together  rainbows are formed after rain there is no end to a rainbow so dont look for gold

      You can make a rainbow. The rainbow is formed by breaking up the sun's light into its components, like a prism does. If you turn on the hose and stand approximately 90 degrees to the sun, you will see a rainbow forming around the hose. This is the same effect as a prism, if you see a prism you will notice that it is triangular. The angle is 60 degrees in order to break up the sun's light. I hope this helps.
