Yes ceramics reflect Aztec art. Aztec people made a number of useful and traditional items from clay such as dishes, vessels that are used on any ceremony, burners, funerary urns and spindle coils (whorls). Huge burners used for cooking were around more than 3 to 4 feet high with a shape in high relief on one side or a decoration of a shelf. Special glasses for serving on feasts for drinking pulque were also made of clay. A wonderful piece of work of Aztec art was found in Tlatelolco i.e. a clay vase placed on three twisted cylinder legs.

The Mexico valley ceramics are divided into 9 different wares depending on clay color, pot form and its decoration. A wonderful ceramics produced by Aztec art is Vessel with Tlaloc mask. This vessel/pot is a part of prayer offering at Great Temple of Tenochtitlan by Aztec people. This vessel is placed in north direction in the Temple of Tlaloc. Since this vessel is a part of prayer it is put in a rock box. This box contains remains of marine creatures that are sign of water and fertility. In this box there is a sacrificial knife named tecpatl and two bowls. This vessel is considered as rain god Tlaloc.
