What Is It? I'm Scared!!
I'm 14yrs old and i have a lump between my neck and shoulder! I have a feeling it may be cancer but i don't dare tell my mum. She knows I've got a lump ( just don't dare tell her i think i have cancer) every now and then it twinges, hurts but lately it's been numb*can't spell* I'm so scared*cry*!! Please tell me what you think it might be!

first try to relax as with your age its not likely its cancer its more likely a cyst or abscess of some sort. Either way go to the doctor. It could get bigger. Sounds like it may be on a nerve also which would explain the twinge every now and then. God luck and don't wait as it could get worse

I'm sure a visit to the doctors will reassure you here the fact that it hurts means its probably an abscess or a bakers cyst which is not cancer you a young girl with no other health problems i wouldn't worry but you should get it checked out it may be an infection

I've recently been diagnosed with cancer. It can be very scary. Get to the doctor as soon as possible. If they catch it early it likely can be cured.
Peace.

It's probably just a cyst, especially if it's hurting, a cancerous lump wouldn't normally hurt. Cysts are really common, everyone gets them. If your really worried you could visit the doctor, but to be honest if you are going to go to the doctor for every lump or spot you get through puberty from here on in, you'll get to know your doctor pretty well.

I was told cancer lump don't hurt but you do need to tell your mom NOW you should go to to the emergency room now because this lump will get bigger and a lot more harder to get rid of.

I was told by my doctor that cancer doesn't hurt. That is why you find it as opposed to feeling it develop. I think what you might have is a cyst of some sort, and you can have them drained. I think a visit to the doctor is in order for you, and you really shouldn't leave your mother in the dark, I'm sure she loves you very much, and will want you to be healthy. Hope this helps, good luck to you dear.
