What Is Islam?

Islam one of the second largest religion which is followed by the people of the world. Islam has nearly more than one billion followers. This is the belief of the people that this religion is spread by the Muhammad (PBUH) who was sent as a messenger from the God. Islam has roots both in Christianity and Judaism. This is a monotheistic religion. The basic principle of Islam is that there is no one but God to worship and Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the last messenger of God. Islam does not force any one to be Muslim. It gives the preaching of peace and love to all the people of the world. It eliminates the discrimination of one man on the other. According to Islam all the people are sent on the earth to worship God and one day they have to go back in the paradise which is promised for those who follow the right path and those who do not follow will go to hell.

The preaching of the Islam includes respect your parents, protect the right of others, being generous with other people of the society, avoid committing adultery and killing people. Islam provides the complete way to live a balanced life.

          Islam is based on the concept that there is only one GOD and Mohammad (P.B.U.H) is last prophet of ALLAH.  He created every thing including living and non living things. Adam was the first human who was created by God. Hazrat Mohammad (P.B.U.H), is revered as the prophet of ALLAH (God), for completing the work of earlier prophets of Judaism and Christianity, including Moses, David and Jesus all of them were Prophet of ALLAH.

          Quran is the holy book of Muslims. The Quran, the words of ALLAH revealed to Hazrat Mohammad (P.B.U.H) that contains not only the rules for worship but also complete guidance about the creation of life.Quran tells about all the basic principals of life. There are five basic pillars in Islam. Islam gives a lesson of unity, love and care.

          In Islam there is no difference on the basis of color, race or caste. In Islam every one is equal. The basic concepts of Islam includes respect your parents, your teachers, be nice to your neighbors, protect the right of others. In Islam there is a concept of heaven and hell.Heaven is for those who follow the right path, and Hell is for those who do not follow the right path. Thus Islam provides us complete balanced and simple life.

Islam is a religion who invite humanity into peace and brotherhoods, it calls to all the humanity to believe in one God who created the world, universe and especially the human with it's complex systems.and believe in all messengers came from his side to guide the human.

The word Islam in Arabic is a derivation of the word "Slm" which in Arabic means submission or to make peace with. By becoming a Muslim a person forms a covenant with Allah and other fellow believers. A Muslim submits his personal will, accepting the will of Allah and believing in a system ordained by God. A Muslim is supposed to be peaceful with his fellow human beings, Allah's creation and the world and is supposed to spend his life with modesty observing the conjunctions laid by the Divine Law as presented in the Holy Quran. There are seven pillars of Muslim faith which preclude as a condition to believe in Allah, Allah's Angels, Allah's books which are Torah, Bible and the Quran, Allah's Prophets which he sent to the human race for guidance, on the day of judgement and destiny of all good and evil that befells a person.

But God's final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through Gabriel.

Simply by saying 'there is no god apart from God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God.' By this declaration the believer announces his or her faith in all God's messengers, and the scriptures they brought.

The book is Kuran and the prophet's name is prophet Mohamed.
