Not really i mean everybody has different pain toleration's . The day after i got mine pierced i went to do a backhandspring just to test things and i felt a stretching sensation the first time so it hurt a little bit but it was just the first time. After that you should be okay, by the end of practice i was pulling fulls and it didntreally bother me.
