This Question Is Answered:
Can You Charge $20 Per Day On Delinquent Rent For Commercial Property, Totalling Between $400 And $600 A Month?
Currently have a tenant behind on rent. My boss feels it's appropriate to charge $20 per day until rent is caught up. I feel this would not stand up in court.

You are right, it would not stand up in court. To be able to charge, it has to be written in the lease. It is totally legitimate to charge that much or even more as long as you find a way to amend the lease to include this.
