Urdu and English are the main ones. When I lived in East London, England , I learnt to speak Urdu so that all the lonely Pakistani Mums in the playground that did not speak English very well would have someone to converse with. I have forgotten quite a bit now as I am out of practice, but remember how to count to 31 and all the fruit and veg and colours and months and days of the week.

Main language is Urdu, but mode of education is mainly English, so English is widely understood as well.
