After thirty one years of marriage my husband has surprised me and learned some new tricks. He learned to cook and clean because of some of the surgeries I've had this past year. I didn't think he could do some of the stuff he does. I thought he didn't know how to cook when we got married; he cooks pretty good. Now laundry, please leave it alone.

I am an old dog, 58, have been married to the same loving woman for almost 33 years and hardly a day goes by that I don't learn a new trick. In fact today we worked on rolling over, yesterday it was perfecting our playing dead. Begging seems to be a waste of my time but that doesn't stop me from trying. Shaking hands I'm a master of and I've even learned that sniffing private parts is an absolute no-no! All in all I'd say the answer to your question is a resounding YES! To add on a bit here the female of the species needs to realize that us old dogs' bladders ain't what we used to be and when yelled at or whacked in the head with a newspaper we tend to leave embarrassing spots.

I think not only can they NOT learn new tricks, with each year of marriage they forget one or two.  After 25 years mine has even forgotten how to get up from the chair, thus his meals must be brought to him and he can no longer match his own clothes.  I must give him credit though, he has learned to tighten his wallet!

With all the time passing, that is the only thing they do naturally, I don't think there is a trick in that one, it's inherited genetically, they get stingy! LOL ROF

Ah! Yes they do learn new tricks including improved flirting but for other women mostly because mostly with each year of marriage their attitude begins to change towards their wives(If germs of flirtism, cheating etc prevails in them).
