Since, I do not know how far along you are in your studies at this time I really cannot say, which area to focus on right now. If, you are at the beginning of your studies, it is a little early to tell what you will like or do not like about Electronics and Communications Engineering. If, you have been studying for a couple of years you should be beginning to feel inclined toward a specific field. If, so pursue that field as you continue learning.
I would suggest you keep an open mind and learn as much as you can about all the fields open to you. Place your focus on learning and not on earning a salary. If, you work and study hard right now, in time you will begin to know what you want to do, when your schooling comes to an end. Listen to your instructors and ask many questions about, all the aspects of the fields available to an engineer in today's world.
Engineering is a wide open field there will be many opportunities to learn about all the types of jobs available to ECE graduates. The better your grades, the more you learn the greater will be your job opportunities in your future.
