John Wayne never made a film called 'Great K&A Train Robbery'.
His first screen appearance was in a 1925 MGM collegiate football film entitled Brown of Harvard starring William Haines. He worked as a film extra to help fund his education and doubled on the playing field for Francis X Bushman Jr. He didn't receive a screen credit.
The first film he did get a screen credit for was a 1929 Fox film called Salute starring George O'Brien and directed by John Ford.  Another football film, he played a bit part as a naval cadet on and off the field. He was billed as Duke Morrison.
