There Is Oxygen In Water Yet Why Is It That We Cannot Breathe Underwater But A Fish Can?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

While there is oxygen, its not in such a state that we can use it. Fish cannot survive above the water, because their lungs are adapted to take air from the water. Ours however, are not designed that way. Our lungs simply take the air we breath and use it. Hope it helps =D
