You should start deworming at 3 weeks and do that every 2 weeks until they go on to new homes. The & in one shots that cover all the nastiness is done at 6 weeks and should be done before they are sent on. They need 2 more of those normally in 4 to 6 week intervals. The need to have the first rabies by the time they are a year old. Most vets will not give them until 10 months old. I love puppies! I hope you are enjoying them!

Vaccinations start at 6-8 weeks of age with the distemper-parvo combination vaccine.  This needs to be boostered every 3-4 weeks until the puppies are 16 weeks.  Rabies is required by law although the minimum age required for vaccination may vary by state.  It should be due between 3-4 months of age.  Puppies should also have a fecal exam and 2 routine dewormings at 8 and 12 weeks of age.  Talk to your veterinarian about appropriate puppy care and vaccination protocol.
