Beaulieu is not only the name of a village in England, but also of numerous communes in France. For example there is the Beaulieu located in the Ardèche department, in the Calvados department, in the Hérault départemen, in the Nièvre department and in the Orne department. It usually refers to the small village which is found in Hampshire, England, on the south eastern border of the New Forest national park. It has a Palace House overlooking the village as it sits across Beaulieu River. This house is a part of the Treasure Houses of England consortium. Beaulieu is also houses the British National Motor Museum. The nearest railway station, called Beaulieu Road, is at some distance away on the London-Weymouth main line.

However, due to infrequency of trains, tourists find it more convenient to go to the stations of Brockenhurst or Ashurst instead.

The name Beaulieu could also refer to the Beaulieu River, situated in the county of Hampshire in England; the Palace of Beaulieu, which is found in the English county of Essex; or even Beaulieu located in Georgia, United States.
