    Are Bumble Bees Nice?

    Do they sting only to defend themselves?

    Bumble bees by nature are not aggressive. Bumble bees sting and attack only when they feel they are in danger of an intrusion, they sting in defense. Their females are the ones that attack because male bumble bees do not have stings.

      Not if you bother them. Bees only sting when they are threatened. It drives me nuts that people see a bee and freak out. Leave it alone and it won't bother you.

      There are over 250 species of bumblebees, and they are not generally aggressive unless aggrivated into stinging. Normally very docile, their main concern is collecting pollen to make honey. Hope this helps.

      It depends how nice you are to them, If you ignore them they'll Ignore you, but I wouldn't say they're nice
