Why Do My Fish Do What They Do?

I have two female guppies and one male guppies and a (sm) goldfish. One of the females fights of all the other fish when it's feeding time. Why is this happening? That is the only time she attacks them. The goldfish only gets food when it's falling down to the bottom. It never come to the top to eat. Why?

Some fish are naturally more aggressive. I'm not so sure why the one is staying towards the bottom, but I would attribute it to it being more of the passive fish.  It is kind of like Siamese cat behavior towards other animals and even humans. They are generally more aggressive around other animals, but timid towards humans.

Well, maybe the female is being protective towards the food. She is being aggressive towards  the other fish because she feels that they will eat all the food and she won't get any at all!! Hope that helps a little bit xx

If you bought your fish from a oet store, it is possible that they lived in the wild one or in a fish farm and had to compete for food. It may think that the other fish will get the food first, or its natural instinct. The other fish may be staying towards the bottom because of it's fear for the female guppie.
