    How Do You Set A Barometer?

    I have an old barometer and I believe you have to set it before it will work correctly - how do I do this?

    First of all you need to check whether there is an adjustment screw on the back of an aneroid barometer. Then you should call the weather service or a news outlet to obtain a current barometric reading. Finally adjust your screw accordingly.
