What Are The Advises Given For People About The Disadvantages Of Television?

Disadvantages of television:
1. It eliminates family time. People don't talk while they watch.
2. The content on the television can be closely monitored, but you will find that children will eventually find a way to watch what is not good for them.
3. With as much as there is out to do in the world, television is just a distraction from our responsibilities to those things.
4. Television is a great source of entertainment, but what did they do before television was invented or became so popular?
5. FAMILY FIRST!  If you MUST watch television, choose something you can watch as a family, then shut it off and talk about what you watched.

There are some of the disadvantages to television.

My kids and I don't watch much television because of the violence, adult content and such that is displayed in many shows and programs.  I started getting addicted to reality shows and realized I was missing out on MY OWN REALITY.  You can't get those lost hours of television time back, when later you realize you wish you had more time to do other things.
