Someone has been tampering with my time card and before I go to my boss about it I would like to know if this is not allowed or not legally.

It is definitely illegal to temper with or write on another person's time card. So if you feel someone has been doing that to your card you must go to your boss and complain about it. Keeping accurate time card at office is very important as it reflects your level of commitment and the time you give to the office. Someone might be tempering your time figures which might portray a bad effect at the end of the day. So you must bring the matter to your boss's notice.
