Who Is Cecily Von Ziegesar?

Cecily von Ziegesar, an American Author was born on 27th June, 1970. her novels were mostly teenager based. Her very first novel, 'Gossip Girl' was written in 2002 which brought her extreme fame. The book spoke all about sex, alchol and drugs which were prevelant among the high class teenagers of New York City, the Upper East side. Some of the main characters of the incoporated were Blair Waldorf, Serena van der Woodsen, Nate Archibald, Dan Humphrey, his little sister Jenny Humphrey, and Vanessa Abrams. It was a New York Times Bestseller and is also currently in production as a TV series.

With the huge demand for her novels, her work was later translated into different languages. Her other intresting series include The It Girl which is the first one, the subsequent is Notorious, and the last is Reckless. These series is to be published in November 2006.
