I am concerned that I may have some kind of medical condition that is causing me to not have periods?

If you are 171 days late for your menstruation, it is impossible that you do not have any idea whether you are pregnant or not. Pregnancy has its very prominent symptoms. You are probably having a problem with your body hormone level. You need a proper medical check up for hormonal activity.

You need to seek medical advice, if you are that late you would surly see signs of pregnancy at this pint , protruding abdomen increased breast size, etc. At this point you would be about 6 months pregnant. You should net wait with things like this if this is a medical issue the longer you wait, the worse things can get. Maybe it is just something trivial. Have you taken a pregnancy test?

No, because my period is sometimes irregular so I do not bat an eyelash when I am sometimes late. No I have not taken a pregnancy test. I am however going to make an appointment with my Regular Dr. To found out exactly what is going on. I have a lot of burning feelings in my abdomen and at times it feels like my uterus is being stretched in several different directions. I am not playing dumb here. I was about 12 weeks pregnant not to long ago and did not know it until I started having a miscarriage. I wanted another baby so bad I was devastated. It has been a little over a year since that happened. I have been with my partner now for 6 years and we do not use any kind of protection so I guess anything is possible.

I had the same problem like the person who responded about having abdomen burning. I had the burning and it felt like my uterus wanted to drop down to the point both of my legs were hurting. The next day my period came on heavy and short of two days. I also had big clots. It felt strange and abnormal.
This response is not directed to this Q&A but to the response of the woman who stated that she was experiencing burning in the abdomen and the feeling the her uterus is being stretched. Did you ever go to the doctor? I recently had the same experience but the day before I had my period, my uterus felt like it wanted to drop out to the point both my legs were hurting. My period was heavy but short of two days and I had big blood clots. This was a strange and different period.
