Who Is England's Latest Target For The Position Of Bowling Coach For The English Cricket Team?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The England and Wales Cricket Board has confirmed that the current bowling coach of the English cricket team Kevin Shine would no longer be serving as the bowling coach and instead would be serving an administrative role in the national academy in Loughborough.  In place of Kevin Shine, the ECB (the England and Wales Cricket Board) has decided to appoint former South African fast bowler Allan Donald as a replacement for Shine by making him the new bowling coach of the England Cricket team.

It was at the start of 2006 that the ECB had appointed Kevin Shine as the bowling coach of the English cricket team but the position more particularly was concerned with a Loughborough-based role, which in turn, would have led the ECB fast bowling program.  This very program focused on monitoring and developing the performance of fast bowlers at senior and age-group levels.  Nevertheless Kevin Shine, in his role as bowling coach, failed overall judging from the low-quality performance of the English team during his time.
