How Do You Get Rid Of Pharoah Ants? Is This Impossible And Should I Just Move Out Of This Condo?

Answer Question

Pharoah Ants are very hard to get rid of however, I live in Texas and had the same issue at one of my Multi-Tenant Properties. I tried everything without success, then one day I was listening to Tom Tinen on the Homeshow online. He recommended "Bengal TIger Roach Spray". I will forewarn you the product does not say Ants anywhere on the label, and it is about $12.00/can but the stuff is amazing. I sprayed and have not had any problems in the last couple of years. I spray the areas where they were previously seen about 2x year and that's it.

In Dallas I found the product at Home Depot. Trust me, the stuff is amazing.

I work as a Pest Control Operator here in Texas and if you do some research on Pharaoh Ants there is a clear message on there do not use  Contact insecticides with this ant. They will bud and form new colonies if you are not careful on your treatment approach. Using bait stations such as Advance Dual Choice ant stations, or Gourmet Ant Gel is a sure way to start the treatment of this ants. We do not offer guarantees on this particular ants because they can be a real nuisance quick.. Be sure to bait crack and crevices, remove electrical plates and bait in the voids. If you can get your hands on an insecticide use a handheld sprayer and use the product Phantom as your surface spray and crack and crevice. It is considered a non-repellent chemical which roaches and ants can not detect. And that is a real plus. It allows insects to make contact with the chemical and since ants are social insects it will work as a virus and contaminate the whole nest and wipe them out by infecting the other foragers. I hope this helps.
