    How Is The Best Way To Remove The Valve On My Shower Faucet, Does It Unscrew Or Just Pull Out??

    I have removed the knob and the bushing over the valve stem, but am not sure how to get the entire valve assembly out for replacement

    It would unscrew if you see any type of thread type components.Chances are it pulls out. You might see a retaining clip. Shut off the water and remove the retaining clip. Grab the cartrige handle with pliers and pull while using a flat screwdriver for leverage. If this is not helpful than please describe the faucet, pullout handle, rotating, single handle? Two handles? Moen, Delta, Kohler?
