Reasons For Acting That Way .... Why?

Been together over a year now - he will hold my hand and be all lovey dovey but when he sees some of his other sort of friends (not immediate friends, just people he gets along with) he lets go. Why? When we are with friends he is fine with it all ... Am i not cool to be seen holding hands with? Is he ashamed of me? I really dont know what to think - help ...

I think that he doesn't have self confidence he should be proud of you. And it kinda seems that maybe hes trying to become rele cool in front of these guys. I just talk to him about it and ask him why but don't argue

What do you mean other sort of friends? Are you speaking of other female friends? Maybe he doesn't want them to know that he is not available. It has nothing to do with you, men are just weird like that sometimes. Why don't you try reverse psychology on him, when you see these people why don't you let go of his hand first, or stop holding his hand altogether. That will make him wonder why you are doing it. Don't worry yourself about trivial things, trust me there will be more things to worry about as time goes on.

For one, he's a guy!  Sorry to all men that i just offended!!!  First off, we mature faster then men do, second I agree with Dynasty1 and mo fitz24. I too, would start letting go of his hand first b/f he got a chance to. I've been married for over 20+ years and as much as I know my hubby, he can throw a curve ball at me once in a blue moon and I just look at him as if he was from another planet. If he is doing it when seeing other girls walking by, I'd question him or turn the tables on him, when you see a group of guys, let go of his hand. Good luck!
