What Is The Use Of A USB Key?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The USB key was a very handy invention. Also called a pen drive, it is a small flat stick which can carry and transfer information between computers.

Since the USB key can only store, receive or pass on information and files, that is really its sole use. However, you can choose to use it smartly.

Depending on the size of memory you choose you could upload quite a lot of information. So, instead of lugging your laptop back and forth to work, you can take your USB key, attach it to your work computer, download the files you need to work on, and then take it home. You can delete any files you don't need after you have copied them onto your hard drive.

If, like me, you are terrible at printing your photos for a family member to see, stick them on your pen drive the next time you visit and you can view them on their computer, or take them to be printed.

It is very good as compare to floppy drive which can just store 1MB data or less and data loss chances are great.while in the usb the data is much more safe you just need a usb port and insert it and enjoy as much data as you want .
