Gauze around the ears then tape them up. You should tape them to where they are standing straight up. The tape should be the tape you use in the meds. Department. Also tape it to where that ears are connected placing tape around the two ears and a strip in the middle that connects the two.

If it is like treating a human i would use a guaze that is coated so it will not stick to the dogs ears and treat the dogs ears with what the vet should have given you instructions to use like a salve/ointment/betadine.
