Is Rhytidectomy The Best Solution For An Aging Face?

There is one thing that you must understand. No one can defy age. The process of aging is inevitable, and we all have to go through it during our lives. The difference today is that there are procedures such as the face lift that help make you appear rejuvenated and younger than your actual age.

In that sense, rhytidectomy is a very good option. You would definitely not look older after a few creases and wrinkles have been taken care of by tightening up your skin. However, the flip side to rhytidectomy is that it is not a permanent procedure. In fact, there has not yet been any permanent procedure developed for aging. The effects of a face lift will wear off over a period of time.

At that point in time, you can either opt for another procedure, or accept that you are aging and learn to be okay with your wrinkles and creases. In case you are not old and yet show signs of aging, then a face lift is just what you require.
