No, its not inappropriate to wear a ring guard if that is what you really want to do, but if i were you, i would just pay the $20 give or take and have the ring sized at any fine jewelry store. This is a bridal set not a piece of costume jewelry and it sounds beautiful. I don't know about you, but i would want mine perfect.
