Eid-ul-Fitr is a religious occasion of the Muslims. In the Islamic Year, Ramadan (Ramzan) is the 9th month of the year. Ramadan is very sacred month for Muslims. All the Adult Muslims (Males and Females) keep the fasts in this holy month. When the month ends and next month, Shawal starts with the appearance of moon of first day, Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. Allah told to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr in the end of the month Ramadan because they have kept the fasts for Allah (God) and now they are allowed to eat tasty things created by Allah (God) for his creation.
Eid-ul-Fitr is important for Muslims because it gives the happiness on the faces of all type of people, Rich, Poor, Old People, Youngsters, Children, Males and Females. All people wear new clothes on this occasion or at least neat and clean clothes and go to say prayer of Eid-ul-Fitr to Mosque just after dawn. After saying prayer, the Imam (the leader) gives an address to people and after that people hugs each other and says "Eid Mubarik", and then they go to their homes and eat their favorite food. Eid-ul-Fitr remains for 3 days.

Wearing new cloths on Eid-ul-fitr also advised on this occasion. Every Muslim wants to wear new dress on Eid day and therefore the crowds of customers as the draws near and besides cloth. As soon as Eid moon is sighted in the sky, the rejoicing start, children's are extremely on this occasion because they get special gifts and pocket money from their elders on this particular day. Eid is important because it is to remind Muslims of what Ibrahim (Abraham) sacrificed for God, and to show that we are willing to sacrifice anything God wishes. It gives happiness too all Muslims all around the world, too show respect for Abraham, God and all other Muslims.
