    Wine is an an alcoholic beverage. It is usually produced by the fermentation of grape juices, particularly the one produced with pinot grape juice is usually considered of premium quality. The best part about fermenting grape juice is that they do not require other additives, enzymes and ingredients for fermentation. The fermentation process requires adding certain types of yeast to crushed grapes consuming the sugar in grapes in the process and converting them to alcohol. The type of yeast used and the quality and type of grapes is what the process of wine brewing depends. Besides grapes, other fruits and materials can also be used in the fermentation process to produce different types of wines, for example apple, berries and ginger.

      Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented grape juice. Wines made from other fruits are always named accordingly. The chemical composition of wine is about 87.7% water, 11% alcohol, 1% acid, and 0.2% tannins.
