Could mother is a cancer carrier?

I'd say it depends on several things. How was the mother? Did you check to see if she had milk? Did she do all the right things at birth? I would have had all these things known before breeding her the 2nd time. Sounds like it could have been her milk production, her teats did you check to see if they were normal?, or the milk itself. I wouldn't breed her again for sure. Sorry that's terrible to go through.
