How Do You Know To Calculate Distance When You Know The Speed And Time?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    The rate of change of distance or change in distance with respect to time is called speed.

    Speed= change in distance / change in time

    S= dX/dt

    If a body is moving with a speed S during a time t, then the distance covered by the body can be calculated as;

    S=x/t

    X=St

    Unit for distance can be calculated as;

    unit of distance= unit of speed * unit of time

    Unit of X= meter/ sec * sec

    unit of X= meter* sec-1* sec

    unit of X= meter
