"The Greatest Miracle In The World" written by Og Mandino. He has a great view point on life and the plot is inspiring. The God Memorandum at the end will make a person realize just how great a miracle man is. It is not a relegious book and leaves a person to believe whatever they want and the ending has a big surprize and leaves you guessing just who the ragpicker really is.

Consumed, How Markets Corrupt Children, Infantilize Adults, and Swallow Citizens Whole, by Benjamin R. Barber. I've only just started it, but am wholly mezmerised by it. In referance to marketing infantilizement of consumers he writes, "...while the marks of perpetual childness are grafted onto adults who indulge in puerility without pleasure, and indolence without innocence. Hence, the new consumer penchant for age without dignity, dress without formality, sex without reproduction, work without discipline, play without spontaneity, acquisition without purpose, certainty without doubt, life without responsibility, and narcissism into old age and unto death without a hint of wisdom or humility. In the epoch in which we now live, civilization is not an ideal or an aspiration, it is a video game."

I just finished "who will tell the people, the betrayal of american democracy" by william greider. It's a scathing documentary of modern politics. It's equally harsh on democrats and republicans, they're just opposite sides of the same dirty coin. But besides that, he offers hope on how we can win back our country and our democracy ;) another great book that I'm reading over again is an alternative history of israel called "mythic past, biblical archaeology and the myth of israel" by thomas l. Thompson. I don't really agree with him but it's very intriguing reading.

I love the Madison Finn series, the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series, the Animorphs series and the How I survived Middle School series. Sorry I can't tell you which book I like the best because all the books in the series I named are great!
