    Jack the Ripper was basically a Serial Killer who committed violent murders in London England in 1888. Due to lack of evidence the real killer was never found and to date his identity is a mystery. Although a lot of research has been done by various people on this subject but still no definite conclusion was reached. All of his victims were female prostitutes. All his victims had their throat cut first and later on their bodies were mutilated (cut to pieces). All the victims had their internal organs removed due to which there was a strong suspicion that the killer possessed medical knowledge and due to some researchers may have been a surgeon.

    As an official record there were 5 victims who fell pray to Ripper murders. Their names are, Mary Ann Nichols killed on August 31st, 1888, Annie Chapman killed on September 8th, 1888, Elizabeth Stride killed on September 30th, 1888, Catherine Eddowes killed on September 30th, 1888 and Mary Jane Kelly killed on November 9th, 1888.

    According to the police the following were the suspects in relation to the Ripper murders;

    1. Montague John Druitt
    2. George Chapman
    3. Aaron Kosminski
    4. Michael Ostrog
    5. John Pizer
    6. "Dr." Francis Tumblety

    The legend of Jack the Ripper is still alive in London, England and many tours are given to people at the site of the murders.
