Dominion in the British Empire and within the Commonwealth of Nations is a current former overseas territory which belongs to the British Crown. A dominion territory comes under absolute ownership, sovereignty or the Supreme authority of the occupier or owner. Dominion is also a synonym of the word 'Realm'. The word is also used for the description of the lands that are reined over by the Monarchs. The term dominion has originated from the British Empire; this was done during the time of development of the British Constitutional Law.
However by the 1800s the term dominion was most commonly used for the completely self governing states that belonged to the British Empire.
In the Hierarchy of Angels were known as lords that were responsible for regulating duties to the lower angels.
