What Should You Feed Four Week Old Pups?

You should feed canned food to four year old puppies.

There is a point in your pups life where the mother stops suckling the young. Then instead of paying for the expensive puppy food take regular dog food (appropriate for pups, ask your vet) and let it soak until it is a soppy mush (not to much). As they start to get their teeth soak the food less and less long (slowly) this is called weening. After all (baby) teeth are in you should have started on normal dry (puppy) food.

Canned or wet dog food is best, there are many puppy food available at your local grocer.  As they grow, you can add dry dog food and slowly convert them to that if you choose.  Be careful, a quick change in a dogs diet will cause stomach upset, so any change must be done gradually
