How Do You Deal With A Destructive Dog?

Answer Question

Well handling a destructive dog can be quiet a tricky situation. First of all try to find out the reason behind their destructive or violent behaviour. Like dogs who generally behave in a normal manner might turn violent and destructive when left alone at home usually because they want to potty badly and can't get outside.

There are quiet a few reasons behind a dog becoming destructive. It can be possible that the dog becomes destructive when he has some sort of pain due to illness and behaving in a violent manner is the only way he can let others know about it, so the best thing do to in such situations is to take the dog to a vet for a through check-up.

You can also get your dog enrolled in a dog training camp, where they train dogs to control their destructive and violet behaviour and obey their masters.

If your dogs only destructive when left home alone then its a bordom and energy problem. Does the dog get enough excercise, if not that can cause this type of problem or if you leave the dog for long periods with no toys or anything to stimulate the mind the dog will find something to destroy. Get some training advice for you and the dog, also get some kong toys and fill them with food, thats a start.
