What Do You Think About CCTV?

CCTV is like one of the greatest things out in the the Digital World. There are so many benefits to having a closed circuit television. I have seen this industry explode onto the scene and the technology improvements are off the charts. Mainly I am pro CCTV, because it helps so many different people. They can be implemented just about anywhere, from homes, to offices, restaurants, schools, and government locations. I still like to see this more private than anything else. Having security cameras on every corner, would not be cool. With technology like this you can gain a lot of information and feel like a God for the time you are looking at live video feeds or recorded data.

If it stops, or even makes it more difficult for some murderous creature trying to prey on me, while I try to use public transport at night, or go about exercising any other of my rights as a citizen, then so be it. I must need it, or it would not be there.
The police cannot have their eyes and ears everywhere, and since the public has shown a reluctance to get involved in crime prevention and reporting in a direct way. I don't see what choice we have.
I like my liberty and anononimity , yes, but so do criminals.
So it comes down to my survival or theirs.
In my experience at least, criminals (full time ones anyway) don't normally pay tax, put there rubbish out nicely in the right bags, on the right day, or worry about children's education.
I on the other hand, do.
So perhaps I need a little help in watching my back. The criminals have their chums and accomplices doing that for them
