    There are five main functions of Management which are: Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing and Controlling

    Planning is the continuous process of making business goal and objectives. They also plan to determine how they will be achieved. Organizing is setting up the internal managerial structure of the company. The main focus is on division, management, and organizing of tasks and the information flow inside the company. Staffing is a process in which management hire and fire the employees according to their needs and standards. They also train the potential employees, evaluate their performance and then give compensation according to their performance. Directing is process in which management try to negotiate with employee, motivation, communication with different groups in order to solve their problems and man the discipline. Controlling is a function in which management make performance standards with respect to firm’s goals. In this management actually measures the performance, compare the out put with the required out put and then take corrective or preventive measures.
