How Many Hours Can A Employer Work Their Employees In Texas?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Unless there are any specific exclusions based on the industry in question (think airline pilot), an employer in any state can ask you to work 24/7, if they want to. It's a daft idea really... But it's not illegal.

Makes me glad that European Regulations mean that there's a limit on the amount of hours that I am allowed to work here in the UK, unless I sign a waiver.
