Where Did President Roosevelt Graduate From?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

President Roosevelt does not have a graduation certificate as he never finished his graduation degree. He entered Columbia Law School in 1905, and dropped out after two years in 1907, because he had passed the New York State Bar exam.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born on January 30, 1882 in Hyde Park, in the Hudson Valley. He finished his schooling from Groton School, an Episcopal boarding school in Massachusetts. His headmaster, Endicott Peabody, was a very influential person who preached the duty of Christians to help the less privileged ones. He was the only child of James Roosevelt Sr. and Sara Ann Delano. They were from affluent families of New York of Dutch and French ancestry respectively. He learnt shooting, riding, rowing and also playing polo and tennis.
